"Music without borders"

We want to put together children's interests and their need to learn something new. We think that this way of learning is the best for kids.
Music reflects our culture and society and so the teaching and learning of music enables children to better understand the world they live in. Music is a creative and enjoyable activity and unique way of communicating that can inspire and motivate all children. Music gives them an opportunity for personal expression. Singing songs in foreign languages and playing on instruments is important in helping children feel part of a bigger European community.

1. To get to know children from other school.
2. To support international cooperation and communication between partners.
3. To develop responsibilities to cooperate from a long distance.
4. To improve english language in communication.
5. To perfect ICT usage.
6. To give all children a thorough grounding in basic musicianship skills: singing Polish (Jarzębinowa piosenka, Maria Szypowska, Księga pomysłów Juka-91), Slovak (Letia letia babie leta, Pesnicky pre deticky, Maria Podhradska, Richard Canaky) and English (Jingle bells, Boney M) songs, playing on handmade instruments.
7. To know how music is made through a variety of instruments.
8. To perform instrumental music with a partner.
9. To join in simple improvised activities.
10. To investigate music by listening, asking questions and discussing.

Interview with professor Piotr Sutt - some interesting piece of news about musical instruments

The name of the INSTRUMENT we can call everything that emit some sound. We don’t know when the first instrument come into being. They come into being together with the civilizations, tribes. Their history is as long as human history. The musical instruments invent human being by accident. We can play on it in different styles for example: hit, shake, rub, collide, blow, jerk on sth, crumple up for example sheet of paper. .We can play instruments different ways because it can originate completely new sound. The instruments were initially made of natural objects, by accident found skins, intestines, wood, metals then also plastics. First instrument was nothing special -only human body.
A musical instrument is an object constructed or used for the purpose of making the sounds of music...
Kinds of instruments:
* Wind instruments: flute, piccolo, trumpet, bassoon, trombone, saxophone, English horn etc.
* String instruments: guitar, double bass, harp, cello, piano, violin, viola etc.
* Percussion instruments: drum, rattle, castanets, tambourine, triangle, cymbals, xylophone etc.
The Instruments we can make of everything. You only have to take some metal or plastic box, grains, herbs and spices, stones, sticks, keys, coconuts, lines…. And a little piece of imagination…


Instrumentem można nazwać wszystko co wydaje z siebie dźwięk. Nie znamy dokładnej daty powstania pierwszych instrumentów. Powstawały one razem z cywilizacjami, plemionami. Historia ich jest tak długa jak historia człowieka. Wymyślił je człowiek, prawdopodobnie przez przypadek. Gra się na nich w różnoraki sposób: uderzając, potrząsając, pocierając, zderzając ze sobą, dmuchając w nie, szarpiąc lub np. gnąc papier. Na instrumentach można grać inaczej niż zazwyczaj, ponieważ dzięki temu powstanie nowy dźwięk. Początkowo były zrobione przede z wszystkim z przedmiotów naturalnych i przypadkowo znalezionych oraz ze skóry, jelit, drewna, metalu, później także z tworzyw sztucznych. Pierwszym instrumentem było same ciało człowieka.
Instrumenty można podzielić na:
*dęte (np. trąbka, flet, fagot, kontrafagot, rożek angielski, piccolo, puzon, saksofon),
*instrumenty strunowe (np. gitara, harfa. wiolonczela, fortepian, skrzypce, altówka, kontrabas),
*perkusyjne (bęben, grzechotka, kastaniety, tamburyn, trójkąt, talerze, dzwonki chromatyczne, ksylofon, blok, janczary, sistrum, pudełko akustyczne).
Instrument można wykonać właściwie z wszystkiego. Wystarczy np. jakiś pojemnik metalowy lub z tworzywa sztucznego, ziarna, przyprawy, kamienie, patyki, klucze, kokos,żyłka, śrut... i trochę wyobraźni.
